Funding programmes
Around two thousand programmes. Five worth knowing by name.
The platform screens against every open EU instrument and more than ten national funding sources. These are the ones people search for and ask about, each with who it is for and the thing applicants get wrong.
The larger, quieter half of European funding
National and regional funds
Most of the money you can realistically win is not European.
Who can applySingle-company deeptech funding
EIC Accelerator
An investment case with a grant wrapped around it.
Who can applyThe EU research and innovation framework
Horizon Europe
Rarely winnable alone. Partner selection decides it before the writing starts.
Who can applyInvestigator-driven frontier research
ERC grants
Funds the researcher, not the project and not the company.
Who can applySME-led international collaboration
Eurostars
Smaller, faster and easier to reach than Horizon, with two sets of rules.

Everything else
The other ~1,995 are not a reading list
Publishing two thousand programme descriptions would help nobody. The useful question is not what exists but which ones you qualify for, and that depends on your organisation, your project and where you are registered.
So the rest are screened rather than listed. One client's search read ~2,000 programmes, found 188 they were formally eligible for, and recommended five.
How the funding works
Rules of the system that catch people out, independent of which programme you apply to.
